like kinda act like your not that interested when you really are? is it a good sign a girl likes you if she jokes around with you? like this girl pretended she was gonna hit me with the door and she also tried blaming me for spilling a coffee lol think she is interested?

Yes girls hide but there are different reasons why:

1) The girl is really shy so when you try to talk to her she just says one to two word answers. She's scared for you to find out because you might reject her.

2)You and the girl are good friends so she's hides the fact that she has a crush on you so she won't ruin y'all friendship. She rather have you as a friend than not at all.

3)The girl is shy so she acts like she not interested, or stand off-ish, or even rude at times.

4) The girl laughs with you, hugs you back, talks with you about anything but then seems rude to you...She's definitely hiding.(Basically: She's scared of how you make her feel so she tries to hide and push you away.)

Girls only pretend that they don't like a guy if they have a good reason not to. For example, I had a crush on a guy at my school, but I had to really hide it because I had a long distance boyfriend. Other reasons for a girl hiding something like that would be because her best friend would not approve, her worst enemy would tear her apart, she is afraid of rejection, or any similar reasons. It's hard to say if she likes you or not, but other things to look for are if she plays with her hair, bites her lower lip, blushes, has problems speaking to you, or any type of behavior change.

I know if a girl likes a guy she might get kind of embarrassed or flustered (especially if she's shy) and try hard to not look at him too much so that he doesn't find out. If she's trying to "act natural" and not be obvious, it's possible that it comes across as disinterest. If she jokes with you, it probably means she likes you in some capacity (even if just as friends, which is a nice way to start out!) and maybe feels comfortable with you. I'd say if she did those 2 things jokingly, it might be that kind of friendly (or potentially flirty) playfulness!

ahah I think the majority of girls either act liek their not interested, or joke around with the guy they like, but if you're a guy don't get your hopes up because not ALL girls act this way. I'd say she right now from what she's done, she might be flirting BUT some girls flirt with guys even though they really have no interest... it's hard to say, just keep watching what she does. chill with her more.
