not so much of a turn on as a hell yes I finally get food. there's also something special about a guy who's willing to spend time making a meal for you instead of just throwing some cash on the table or pulling out a shiny credit card. if you're taking the time to make a meal, you're showing she's worth the time, you don't mind getting in the kitchen every once in a while, and you have skills other than being macho man and looking hot. it's also a bit of a relief: you two can spend a nice night in instead of going through what can be a tiring routine of going out or ordering take out. there's something appealing about that...
Definitely like a guy who can cook. Especially if he does so wearing nothing but an apron...haha kidding! (but not really lol)
In all seriousness, though, I love to cook, too, and would love a guy that I could share that with. Don't get me wrong, I love gorging on fast food, but it's always nice to have a home-cooked meal.
I love it when guys can cook! I don't really like fast food at all, but sometimes I'm like "omg, I want a mcflurry so bad". I like cooking, but I like doing it by myself with my I-Pod on where no one can see when I mess up a recipe. Though I like cooking by myself, I like feeding other people.
I'm not a girl, but it works for me. It shows them you are a capable provider. If you find a girl who only likes fast food...leave her where you found her. Nothing wrong with being overweight, but if that's the trend you'll get if you find someone adamant to this diet. You want someone healthy who cares about their body and is smart enough to think ahead and take care of themselves. Impress a girl with who you are, and then you will be happy.
Dump her. You don't want to deal with someone that's only going to eat fast food. I'm mostly kidding, there is obviously a lot more to a person than what they eat. But like you I love to cook, and I couldn't imagine being with someone who thought Wendy's was better than a home cooked meal.

I think that is SO sexy when a guy can cook... Especially since I'm completely clueless in the kitchen, haha. I would much rather have a date at the house when he cooks for me & watch a movie at home, than going out to dinner & a movie... It's so much more romantic & personal. And it also let's the girl know you care for her, to show that you would go out of the way to cook for her. I think it's sweet :]
