Why a guy would fist bump me?

I'm new at the office and a co-worker was the first one to make friendly conversation with me, after that every time he sees me he says"hi, hey, what's up, etc" sometimes we have small talk because he bump with eachother but today, he was leaving and told me "I'm leaving, have a great weekend " and fist bumped me. I was so confused! that I waiwed goodbye and then fist bumped him back. Does he likes me or is giving me the friend zone signal?

Well I thought he liked me because he doesn't say (hi l, hey, how are u, etc) to every person in the office, plus he makes eye contact every time he can. But I guess I was friendzoned Today! Lol

It don't really mean anything that big it is just a simple thing he wouldn't off given it as much of thought about doing even though it does mean he respects but there is no way of knowing just from a fist bump. Cause it is just a casual thing to do even if he liked you as friend or more

Why are oyu even thinking in terms of the friendzone this early in your friendship/relationship? Why don't you just ry to play it cool and see where things go?
