They couldn't remember the last time THEY had seen her real hair, and there she was, appearing in front of me in it, where everyone could see her.

No idea. Also phones have that beautify effect that blurs out imperfections. Heck even when I turn it off my camera still doesn't show things properly. I was trying to show a friend a bruise I had and it wouldn't show.

No. No girl who likes a guy would send that that quickly, lol. When you like someone, you want them to like you and be attracted to you. A bad, no makeup morning selfie isn't very... helping with that.

In my case it's because I trust you. I have a lot of scars on my face as well as cystic acne, so I wouldn't just let anyone see me with no makeup on.

She is comfortable yes, either comfortable with herself or with you… or both and chances are that she likes you too.
It really comes down to her personality and stuff like that. A lot of girls wouldn’t even go out with the trash without makeup while others don’t really care.
I mean, for me as a guy I am comfortable walking around in my home without washing the sleep off and fix the birds nest of hair… I would also be comfortable taking out the trash an collect the mail but I would never send a selfie to someone that isn’t my closest friends, family or partner without at least fix my hair and wash my face… probably wouldn’t send it to them either.
But feeling comfortable with someone doesn’t really mean much… I mean, I have slept in the same bed as my friends many times… ofc they know how I look when I wake up… and I am comfortable with them…
That level of comfort will eventually exist when dating aswell… but definitely not like the first week or so. It all depends on who a person is. How comfortable they are with themselves, how comfortable they are with you etc… and someone that likes you would quite quickly get comfortable with you, so if they are also comfortable with themselves chances are they would be comfortable enough to send you a selfie of their newly awakened morning face.
