My crush probably thinks I am a loner.. Is this a turnoff?

At school yesterday we were supposed to get into partners but I was partner-less. My crush noticed and said I could join his group even though he already had a partner. Anyway I got paired up with this girl but the whole time she was turned to 5 or 6 other people just talking really loudly. As a matter a fact the whole class was talking, and I was the only one just sitting there. It was really obvious and embarrassing. Its not really my fault because I don't know anyone. And anyway my crush was right there. Is this a turnoff? I would hate for him to think I'm too pathetic to have friends or he is just being nice to be because he pities me.

Hmm, I've always wondered this too.

I think if a guy was a loner, it might affect my views of him a bit, but if he and I got along great then I don't see what the problem is
