Girls, what is it about a deep voice that attracts you to men that have them?

In my experience women are attracted to men with a deep voice, my voice, is quite deep, not Barry White deep but fairly deep, maybe closer to Morgan Freeman but English. But I've never thought to ask why that is. What is it that is sexy about a deep voice? What assumptions do you make of a guy with a deep voice, if any? I've been asked out over the phone, having never met the person just based on my voice. I never really gave it a huge amount of thought until I was talking to a girl at a party last night, and she kept commenting on how deep and sexy my voice is. What's your thoughts on it? Do you like a man with a deep voice?

Not that they attract me, but smooth deep voices are calming and pleasant to my ears. I can listen to Boris Karloff’s narration of How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the old cartoon version) all day long. But not all deep voices are equal. Besides Karloff’s storytelling voice, I like Morgan Freeman’s voice, not only the depth but his cadence and inflections. But though he’s a good guy, I don’t care much for Sam Elliott’s voice. Don’t hate it, but don’t like it either.

Personally I love a nice deep voice, like if a guy didn't have one it wouldn't matter but if he does then damn that's an extra point her him lol. I'm thinking Josh Turner your man song that's a nice one or hell the cover from that black dude on xfactor his voice was even deeper and yummy lol

I guess it's to do with imagination with me, sometimes I imagine that the deep voice is talking to me during sex or foreplay. Kinda like the husky dirty talk, other than that it's hard to explain I don't really know, all I know is a deep voice often turns me on.

Im not into deep voices at all. I just prefer they sound manly enough and not like a little girl. But im definitely not into deep. I do love to hear morgan narrate but only because its morgan. Not because of his voice

It gives me a sense of security especially if I'm feeling stressed or on difficult situation. This might sound weird but I one time when I was on the plane before taking off (and I was afraid of flying) when the pilot talked I felt more secure.

I don’t care about deep voices. As a matter of fact I’ve never noticed how deep the men I’ve dated’s voices are. It’s just a normal thing I guess. But I’m sure there are some women out there who probably do…just not my thing.

I'm actually not a fan of deep voices. I've always been attracted to guys with a higher pitch (Vince Neil, Sebastian Bierk y'know those types of guys)

If i meet someone new whos overly masculine with a deep voice, its harder for them to get to know me cause im a lot more curt with my responses, have less patience for them and generally avoid them. After looking at the other responses tho i get the feeling im the minority on that. I don't know maybe if they removed those gross testosterone laden paperweights id be more likely to be friendly to them

Thats one characteristic of masculinity. I have cptsd from a lifetime of abuse in group homes. Almost every night as a kid i was ripped out of bed in my sleep and raped by a different man. Everytime i sleep i have lucid nightmares where im forced to relive those nights, except for when i take prazosin. I dont really feel safe around most men and avoid them. The more masculine someone comes across as, the quicker i leave the area
