Mixed signals, he doesn't want to say goodbye, and he doesn't want to get closer so what does he want?

He still talks to me even though I've said some pretty harsh things.

He cares about me and always tries to cheer me up.

He gets funny about me talking about other guys and...

He's all cuddly with me and often acts like we're a couple...

Some of my mates have even said he acts like my boyfriend.

But now he doesn't seem to want to meet... He says he wants to but when it comes to making plans he always can't. Which makes it seem like he doesn't even like me as a friend...

But he won't say goodbye either. When it came to the end of college, he refused to say goodbye, even though after the summer we're off to Unis that are very far apart...

So he doesn't seem to want to let go, and still talks to me and when we do meet he acts like my boyfriend, but he doesn't seem to want to meet which would get us closer. So what's going on? Why's he being like this? please help.

Basically he is haviong thoughts in his head, not sure what he should do... You need to talk with him about why the hesitation. Perhaps its because your going to be farther apart so he doesn't want to get closer. But at the same time he does, but he's scared one of you can get heart broken. Talk to him about it, its your best option! =P He obviously has feelings for you, and if you feel like something good can come from the two of you, go for it! But if your having doubts, still talk but it could very well be not the right time to get close. Try looking at it all from someones perspective like me, just someone who is seeing things happen, see it from both sides. Good luck darling!

It sounds like he doesn't want to get into a relationship with you, but he just wants to stay friends. He doesn't want to give you the wrong idea by making you think that he likes you but he does want you to live a good life...that's why when he's with you he's there for you. All in all, he just wants to stay good friends.
