Depends. Are they a stranger who approached me on the streets and asked me the question? i would outright tell them to “f*** off”. That is incredibly disrespectful. I have self respect.

However, if they were someone I met on a dating app, I would say: “Thank you for being upfront about this with me. Unfortunately, I do not do hookups. I am looking for something long term and I do not want to waste your time and mine. I hope you find what you’re looking for. Have a lovely rest of the week.”

I wouldn’t believe him because he just approached a total stranger (me) and requested to make out. That doesn’t indicate a guy who wants a long-term or monogamous relationship. I would suspect that trying to get physical with random women is something he does regularly.
