What is that one pick up line that you use that is cheesy but cute? I’m looking for one that will be spontaneous and good to be told to a complete stranger. I appreciate some ideas from you ladies. 😀

I never use pick up lines, I usually just compliment people sincerely if I like anything about them.

I learned about a power of compliment when I was about 18-19.

That summer I and my friends were having holidays by the sea and we went to the shop to buy some things, but the shop was closed and it was the only shop that had the things we needed. We really needed to buy them.

When we were coming back disappointed
A few hundred meters away I saw a guy who owned that shop and I told girls maybe they could ask him to open,

Our model friend approached him first, we thought he wouldn’t reject her, as she was the prettiest out of us and she asked him if he could please please open the shop for us for a short time.

That guy declined he said he was in hurry and couldn’t do it. My friends asked and asked and still got a strict NO.

Because we really needed to buy those things, I went to him to give it a last try. I was sure, for some reason, he’d not say no to me, I told him we really needed to buy something and he’d help us a lot if he could open the shop for us for just 5 min.

Before he answered me I asked him “Don’t you live on this ********* street? I feel like I recognize you. I’ve seen you 2 years ago when I first had holidays here. ”

He said “I was right” and asked me how could I remember his face 2 years later, being a bit shocked and a bit flattered,

I said it’s because of his eyes, cause his eyes were hard to forget. xD

He really did have very nice eyes, the most beautiful part in him was his eyes. And I really remembered him because of that.

He was so flattered and happy, he forgot what he hurried about, went with us, opened the shop and even gave us a great discount and small gifts for free with a smiling face.

I often remember it as a sign how powerful a compliment can be and how a right compliment at the right time can even melt the most stubborn heart.

No, I have never used pickup lines in my life. Funnily enough, my ex and I used to make fun of those awfully cringeworthy pick up lines together. It was our fun bonding time.

If you want to go up to a guy and ask him out, don’t use pick up lines. Just be yourself. Smile a lot, crack some jokes, be straightforward and just ask him out.

I came across this one a few days ago. I thought it was cute.

“If you were a triangle, you’d be acute one!“ I’m not sure if guys like being called cute. I have certainly called some guys cute and they liked it.

If you want something more subtle yet flirty, here ya go:

@dolemite89 I don’t know if that’s true or not. I’ve asked guys out before. I’m not uncomfortable doing it. It’s just that there is a lot of male attention and you kind of fall into pattern of evaluating what comes to you because it’s easy. If it wasn’t easy, we might just adapt.
