This girl makes me really nervous what can I do?

So I really like this girl but any time I see her or talk to her I get really nervous. This doesn’t usually happen. I had a girlfriend before. I knew she liked me and I wasn’t really nervous taking to her even when we were in a relationship even though it didn’t last long. But when I talk to the girl I like sometimes I can barely get the words out of my mouth I get a weird feeling in my stomach and feel like I’m getting red faced. She doesn’t talk to me much but if I talk to her she talks to me. so maybe she is shy? But I see her every now and then because we have a few of the same friends and I work with one of her best friends. That’s how I meet her in the first place was she would to my work and see her friend. Then she started working there and I got to know her more but didn’t want to go far with anything at work. But she works elsewhere now. I want to talk to her more and things but it’s hard because I’m so nervous and I don’t want her to think I’m weird or something. I think about her quite often. But I don’t know how to not be so nervous? Because I never really talked to girls I like. I didn’t have to go out and start conversations with my ex because she would always come to me and start the conversations. I just want some advice on what to do?

Just relax and be you , unless she is a cop that would make me nervous, about a month ago i got into a fender bender and it was a 17 year old gjrl she was driving her parents car, it was my fault so I called police nonemergency and when the officer showed up it was a very attractive girl , I all the sudden became nervous its human nature I want to go get pulled over more now
