I have a classmate who’s at least in his 30s. Im a college student and I’m 21. He’s very intelligent but he kinda has a childlike sense of humor so he easily fits in with everyone in the class. He is kind of conversational so I’ve seen him talking to some of our other classmates but him and I sit on opposite ends of the classroom and only have that one class together.
I have been told often that I’m pretty lol so I rarely fade into the background in any of my classes despite the fact that I’m quiet I still get called out in some way. One day earlier in the semester I had a really pretty dress on and i walked into the section of the building where my class was and the guy was standing at the desk and gazes at me kinda wide eyed but I didn’t take it too seriously and assumed he was staring off into space or something lol.
We kinda started talking because one day I missed class and I saw him in the hallway later and he did a double take and smiled and turned back and waved to me lol.
During class he’ll try to find a subtle way to call me out sometimes. I have a presentation and he asked a question which I considered normal because he’s asked other people questions after their presentation.
Today it was a smaller class and when I walked in he looked at me kinda with a straight face and lowered eyes and asked me to guess how old he was ( they were having a discussion about it with a few other people ) but he asked me to guess. He kinda messed up my name a little which I didn’t take personal because I have less attractive classmates who he knows their names. He also told this one girl ( who’s nice but not rlly pretty ) that she was glowing after a break ( she’s also a lesbian ). Anyways after he asked me that he kinda takes on a serious face and was like “you did a really good job on your presentation by the way” and intensely stares at me which kinda felt weird lol. Also he makes sexual jokes during class and said once that he can get filthy. Is he hitting on me?

Yes, this guy is hitting on you. Nothing about being older changes anything when you're trying to interpret his behavior. If he'd be hitting on you were he someone your own age, he's still hitting on you even though he's older. He's just surprised you seem receptive and interested!
You have a crush on the old guy...
No I just wanna know if he has a crush on me lol
Of course he does fancy youth or he would not be in the class “cherry picking” 🙃.
Any self-respecting male is going to reach out to the Graduate School Chair and request to take one class within the program, “To see if I have what it takes…possible career change etc”. Perhaps, I am overreaching but it seems far away from steeped in sincerity or legitimacy ⁉️ Not Creepy but really 🙄
Sensible?
