Why do people assume I'm married?

Im 19 and I work at a grocery store, and a lot of times I've had customers say things like

"What you cooking for your husband when you get home?"

"Are you ready to send your kids to school?"

Some one looks down at my hand and notices that I don't have a ring and says "So... why aren't you married?

Why would people make this assumption about me so early on?

Everyone starts families and all of that really young these days so maybe people would just assume that you are once you reach a certain age. These days girls have babies at 15 and 16, so some people that have seen a lot of that may think it's the same with everyone. I have been asked why I am not married or anything at my age and I thought it was weird but then I thought about it and most of my high school graduating class are either married or have kids.

they just think you're older than your actual age. don't take it personally. I was at the mall once, holding my baby cousin, and these two women came up to me and told me I have a beautiful daughter. x_____x

If I had to guess, I would bet the majority of the people asking these questions are men

or older women with kids

but more men than anything

right?

hahah I guess not, I really just thought they were serious questions. Its always older men too, I like older men. But very picky about them, so its not that flattering haha

it is just a bunch of horny old men figuring out their chances with you in a place they feel comfortable being creepy and pervy..and not in a club for they do not go out

You don't look 19. From your pics you look to be late 20s or even 30.

Pics are a bad judge though.
