Ruffling Hair and Teasing... What does this mean?

I'm a girl, and I'm kind of confused. I know this guy who is a Junior (one grade higher than I am). We aren't close friends, but we are in the same band. I'm a very invisible sort of person, and he likes to tease me or something. He'll pull my hair tie out, pull my hair (not to hurt me), and ruffles my hair often. Once, every time we had a short break he would ruffle it and mess it up. What in the world does this mean? Does he just like to mess with me?

Well it could mean two things.

First thing, he could be flirting with you and wants your attention, just like when a guy pokes you. Some people say that when a guy pokes you its a invention to poke him back so pretty much touch them back haha. And if you are interested, kinda tease him back, but not complete flirt so just in case he is not actually flirting it won't be embarrassing.

Second thing. He could be just a friendly guy, and wants to make sure that everyone is having fun even the invisible girl like yourself. Some guys are like that and just do that.

But most of the time its the guy wants your attention for some reason. Or at least out of my experience, it usually means that. :) Hope I helped a little.
