How to flirt and interact more with a work crush?

So, there's this guy at work from a different department and different floor. We were introduced formally during a meeting about 2 months ago when my scope of work and his needed coordination. I knew I was instantly attracted to him but I kept my cool and stayed professional. Those meetings only happened a few times and we rarely pass by each other. We had a very casual interaction in the pantry once just about his laptop being placed above the water dispenser that I was about to use blah blah really casual and short but I guess it's good enough for a small random talk. Fast forward, earlier this day, we almost bumped into each other in the hallway. He was in a hurry on the way to a meeting, but he managed to say "Sorry Annie". Since he's in a hurry and I was surprised to see him that close, I only managed to smile and nod lightly while we both walk past each other.

I really like this guy even though I really don't know him. I'm THIS attracted that I had to post it here. If you have any advice for me to interact more with him given the circumstances, feel free to answer. Merci 🤍

First, just dont. This kind of thing reflects very poorly upon a woman in the workplace. It destroys her professional image. And even if he reciprocates, when things dont go as you want, you'll always receive the brunt of the criticism.

I've been that guy. That said, youd approach him with offers to go to lunch, requests to walk together, bringing him food, or just share small chat about yourself. Or ask for help on something. Men like to feel like a hero, so this is quite effective.

But, reminder, just dont. You'll regret it.

Find a reason to need his help on a work project, you might need to get creative. This would open up communications between you both, give you an opportunity to get to know him better.

I have always believed yiu don't date thise you work with or work in the same building with. If you work for the same company and it goes under you both are out of a job. If enough damage to the building happens then you both are out of a job.
