For the love of Pete, NO! I hate male attention when I'm at the gym unless someone is smiling in a friendly way when walking by. In fact, I actively try to avoid being in one at all when busy. If I have to go during busy times, I'll take a guy with me to throw other men off. I'm too shy to try to get a guy's attention at the gym. If I did, it would just be nice smiles and a "hi".

This one guy spent an HOUR staring at my butt while I was on the elliptical. I could see his reflection in the window because it was night time. But, I hoped maybe it was just the way the weights he was working with were facing, and maybe he was not actually looking. When I finally got off the machine to walk by, he stared at my chest as hard as possible then leered at me with a creepy smile. Yeah, I get how overly interested you are loud and clear, sir. No home training!

I would say if she even a remote serious gym goer the answer is NO.

Vast majority of those flexing in the mirror are see flaws , that is what the gym is about , I'd say she is going though the various options , and saying to herself , stuff like " arms are improving but need more work " " stomach is not right " " shoulders " " legs " and for the most part looking at where the attention is going next , its not some form of posing , its how everyone gauges where they are at

And mostly those answers will have nothing to do with the guy behind , sure plenty of people hook up at the gym , but plenty and more commonly they are putting in some serious effort to improve.

I think it depends on the guy lol. Some women want men to approach them but the type of men who do aren’t the type she wants. The other men see her run the other guys off and figure they don’t have a shot. Especially if he hears hee say she has a boyfriend (whether she does or not)

I haven't been in the gym since 2012 or so, but when I was there, I definitely didn't try to be the creepy guy. My wife started working out at home a number of years ago, but she still does go to a hotel gym if she's traveling. I think she tries to go during off-peak hours as much as she can.

There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to walk up to a mirror right in front of me when there are several others, while I'm locked in cable stretches or squats, and start flexing your butt or taking pics in poses. Girls can deny they're craving attention in absurdum but that crap is so transparent.
