When random people of the opposite sex start conversations with you, do you assume that they are trying to hit on you?

Like if someone talks to you at the supermarket, or you're working, and you just strike up a convo with a randon stranger, or a customer strikes up a convo with you, or you ask a co-worker that you don't talk to a lot, about what they like to do outside of work, etc

I don't think I ever look at coworker interactions, or client interactions in that light. I figure they have realized that I'm pretty chatty and are simply extending kindness my way.

I wouldn't have normally, it was just the way he seemed overly concerned for me, wanted to get to know me and encouraged me, and constantly bothered me whilst saying some things that seemed flirty, was why i started thinking. he werent like that with others either.

I try not to pick thigns apart too much. It hss to be blindly obvious if i was gonna do something big

Yep, i unfortunately messed things up and they stopped talking to me.

I think if we had met other than work, then things wouldve been different. As i said in my main comment, I've had random guys doing weird things to me that hasn't happened before. I struggle talking to random strangers irl. I see attractive guys randomly, there was one last night but he was with 3 girls and i dont think hed have looked twice at me lol
