Too much hugging..? or just normal for a relationship?

Hugs.. I have a new girlfriend and I was doing this before she was my girlfriend..

Ill hug her goodnight real tight.. then say good night.. while hugging her..

then Ill head for the door.. then Ill stop.. hug her again.. say good night.. look her in the eyes.. then hug her again.. real tight.. and repeat a few times..

is this sweet? or a little too much hugging..? or just normal for a relationship

recently I've added kissing her cheek or forehead to this but its still the same.. we hug a lot when we say goodbye..

I like it a lot and don't see anything wrong with it other then I don't know what she thinks.. I just don't want to let her go.. :)

I've done that a lot with my boyfriend before we got into some more intimacy. I find it to be a great way to get closer with your significant other. If she doesn't break the embrace and if she rests her head on you for a long time, I'd say that she enjoys it and you can keep on hugging. If she's constantly moving around and touching one place to another, then I'd say that she's not too comfortable and probably sick of it. I personally like it a whole lot. The only thing though is pay attention to what you're both wearing. Long embraces when you and your girl are wearing thick winter coats isn't the best. You end up guetting really hot in the wrong way and it's not too pleasant. Plus, it's sometimes annoying as a girl to have your face on a guy's chest if he's wearing a coat because you can be snuggling against a zipper, an awkwardly wrapped scarf or anything uncomfortable of that sort.

This is too much hugging for my taste. I'd say keep it to a maximum of 2 hugs and a kiss. Too many hugs just looses the meaning of it for me and all I can think is "why is he hugging me so much" and then its ruined. Its cute what you're doing, but I'd say keep the hugs to a minimum.

it depends completly on how she reacts to it, if she seems to enjoy it and welcome the hugs, and has her arms open for the next ones and not crossed, then fine, I on the other hand would find it annoying, but I don't like too much affection not in bed.
