He touched/held my hand for a few seconds?

Is that flirting or could it have been really accidental? He was showing me something on his phone and put the phone in my hand in such a way that our hands were touching and we had it like that for a few seconds (3-4 seconds) before he pulled it away and just leaned closer to watch and let me hold the phone.

Was that necessary touching or did he want to touch me?

Other than that he doesn't really flirt much except maintain eye contact and smile (some teasing sometimes). But he doesn't pay me much attention and he's really confident so if he was interested I figured he would make it more obvious...

So is touching a persons hand for that long flirting?

This is definitly a good example of flirthing. Phycially touching a person whether on the arm or shoulder even for just two seconds shows a sign of attraction. While engaging in a conversation or looking at something that is interesting, a person who tend to lean closer to you shows a sign of interest that the person has for you. However you guys were looking at something on a phone which can't accuratly mean that he is flirting with you but the fact that he touched your hand for 3-4 seconds is a good sign that MOST likely he has interest in you and is flirting :) hope this helps.
