Does he have a crush on me?

Me and this guy are in the same college class. He sometimes makes eye contact with me, but once a class and that's it for the rest of the day.

Well he hasn't beeen to class in over a week. When he did come he sat next to me...usually he sits on the other side of the class.

He asked me was I here last class and what did we do. I told him. and that was it.

I was pretty much having a panic attack the entire time he was sitting next me. I'm very confident but this guy made my knees shake. He's basically perfect-- male model perfect.

Anyways, Did he do this on purpose cause he's interested?

Do you think I messed up my chances with him because I didn't further the convo?

How can I calm myself down around him-- This might be a breaking point for me cause he makes me too nevouse to pursue.

Hmh. Well, I will tell you my sincere opinion. I don't think that these signs can indicate whether he has a crush on you or not.. Actually, I completely recognize myself in your story, especially about sitting on the other side of the classroom, having a panick attack etc. Even worse, he sat next to me during an exam, so say goodbye to your concentration and hello to a big failure! Fact is that I caught myself looking for signs that aren't even there. E.g. after the exam he said 'take care' and I was like why not just say goodbye or simply nothing at all? But you know, it really doesn't mean anything. If I've learnt one thing from GAG is that boys can only see the big picture and that if they really like you, they will show you in an obvious way - unless he's shy, but I don't think that'd be the case since he's kinda handsome. Not that that automatically means that he's not shy, but it does take some shyness away I guess (simply an assumption, you know best).

Now, get this straight. Those signs do not necessarily mean that he has a crush on you, but do indicate that he doesn't disgust you - which is better than nothing. The fact that you didn't further the convo probably didn't turn him off, but didn't make him fall in love with you either. If you want him to be yours, then you'll have to step it up and further the conversations. Just think about it constantly - what do you want to say, how, when, where - and take small steps. Ask him questions, show him you're interested. He'll notice :)

Wow, I've just written a really good piece of advice that I can use extremely well myself :) easier said than done.. Keep me posted!
