Are these signs of jealousy? What does jealousy from a crush usually mean?

Whenever I look or talk to another guy, or a guy says i'm hot, etc... he get's jealous. Like a couple days ago his friend checked me out, stared at me, and said I was hot. Five minutes later, he drove his friend back home (He just brought him to his home). And whenever I mention another friend of his, he get's quiet before giving a one word answer.

Also, when my brother brought over a guy friend to his apartment, he got jealous since he was trying to help me with my crush before. So, my crush thought that my brother was trying to do the same with his other friend.
He was like "So, you know Martin?"
Brother: Yeah, he's my friend
Crush: You know he has a child, right?
Brother: Yeah, but he has problems with his girlfriend
Crush: But he still has a kid

Are these signs of jealousy? And what does it mean when a guy get's jealous over a girl?

It sounds to me like he has some control issues. He may want to control who and how you talk with and about other guys, but doesn't want to seem controlling. Be careful.

It doesn't matter. He could still want to control you. Some guys get off on the idea of controlling females. I'm simply saying that it is a possibility and to prevent that from occurring.

If he wants to control you? I wouldn't say it means he 'likes' you... I would say it means that to him, you seem like a person that he would be happy to be with in a one-sided relationship.

But he actually hasn't asked anything of me and hasn't asked me out, either

Right. Which brings me back to saying that based on reading what you wrote it sounds like he wants to control the boys you speak with and how, which is a beginning type of controlling behaviour.

But if he didn't like me, what would it matter which guys I talk to? I told him that I liked him and he just replied "Okay", then later when I asked about it he said that what he said was a good thing. Which I don't understand either. I mean if he really wanted to control me, shouldn't he ask me out first?

I think there is a difference between 'like' and 'interest.' He could be interested in you because of the relationship he could set up. He would probably say this as liking you.

He also told my brother that he didn't want to be with any girl anymore, or rather he said it like this. "No any more" because his ex basically screwed him over. But since he doesn't want to be in a relationship with me, there shouldn't be any reason for him to want to control me, right?

This is all conjecture without proof, but he could simply want to look that way even if he really does.

Without any real proof to back it up, I am more worried about the possibility that this is the case. I simply don't want you to end up in a situation where you are unsafe/in danger of being abused, so i'm writing with extra caution in mind.

Thanks, though I do doubt that he would ever hurt me. He's a quiet guy and is shy. He said he was shy too. Honestly, i've liked him for about seven months and he hasn't even talked to any girl, not including his family and me.

On that point, if you believe he is shy, i would say that it is because he is anxious about rejection and is scared to face the possibility that you don't feel that way back. Very common.

Being there myself, I would guess he is scared that he is not good enough for you. That is how I constantly feel.

I would approach him and reiterate how you feel, and ask how he feels. Its very direct and it will surprise him, but I think you will get honesty.

Yes, there are some signs of jealousy. If a guy get jealous that usually indicates the guy has some feelings for that girl.
