In America, where I'm from, we have a tradition where we get a fire going really hot on Christmas Eve. Then, we gather 'round the fire to see if Santa Claus can still make it down the chimney, in spite of temperatures that can reach well over 500 degree Fahrenheit. (That's 260 Celsius for the non-scientific Europeans).
This really gets the American kids excited and they love to have a bite of Santa before he uses his magical power to regrow his skin. For those of you with a fireplace, do you prefer your Santa really black and crispy or slightly pink on the inside?
Santa's suit is fireproof... I'm surprised you didn't know that. Any fire in the fireplace will not affect him, his elves (sometimes they accompany him to help carry that heavy bag) or the reindeer (usually they stay on the roof but one has been knows to fall down the chimney occasionally).
I don't have a fireplace. His best place of entrance is probably through the microwave but that won't cook it very well. I'll take what I can get though
