We're not known for tasty dishes, (some would argue even edible ones) but we do produce ingredients that are highly prized by chefs such as salt Marsh lamb and shellfish.
Recipes tend to be very basic and the best known ones are puddings and sweet snacks. Crempog is a buttermilk pancake similar to American ones, bara birth a dense fruit cake, Eva pudding is basically apple crumble with a cake baked on top. Ice cream is everywhere thanks to the Italian influence.
Savory wise faggots mashed potato, peas and gravey is a common dish. Glamorgan sausages are basically just cheese onion and bread crumbs deep fried. Rissoles are similar but contain potato and meat. An illegal but delicious food is smokies, a sheep hung from a tree and cooked with a blowtorch to burn off the wool.
