Jesus you must of been pampered and spoiled.

I learned when I was 10, I started with grilled cheeses and scrambled eggs.

until I was 12 I was only allowed to make things that didn't require much effort, at 12 I started making more complicated meals like sauces and pasta.

at 14 I started baking non-meats for the first time making cakes and bread

at 16 I started baking/roasting meats in the oven

at 17 I started grilling and using a smoker.

at 18 I was finally allowed to use the Deep Fryer and learned how to fry stuff.

for the years I skipped like 11, 13, 15 those years I was learning variant methods of cooking in the previous things.

11 I learned how to cook in various pots and pans
13 I learned how to use a skillet top and how to properly stir and mix ingredients
15 I learned how to properly use slow cookers and pressure cookers and I learned how to cook more complicated things like pot roasts.

I started baking when I was around 9 snd it slowly evolved intonmore cooking then baking and then started making my own sausage and bacon, curing it and smoking it and then making dry cured meats I have a large veggie garden and grow most of my own veggies and do them down for winter use. I love to cook and create new recipes.

Coming from a big family that values kitchen skills, I learned it when I was 12 years old. It can be helpful for saving money.
One thing I have to say is I don't like cooking for people. I only cook for myself lol.

I new how to make french toast, brownies, and how to make scrambled eggs when I was 3. We lived very remote and learned how to cook and how build a fire by that age.
