Concept art for a new company.

My brother wants to branch out into the vending machine business. He's considering a logo for an LLC, but doesn't know what to do for graphic design direction. I made this truck decal logo in 3 hours, mostly by toying around in Affinity Designer.

He's on the fence about it. Would you enjoy seeing a logo like this? Why or why not?

It's awesome! I'd even go for Halloween as Gulpchuggy the Rooster!

Nah... that AoSTH vibe...

I've since modified the design to make Gulpchuggy a Rhode Island Red.

As a marketing consultant and graphic designer the rooster doesn't appeal to me as a mascot as it hasn't got anything to do with the vending business. The vending machine business is all about the convenience of several options available from chips, candy , both hot and cold drinks to sandwiches, soups, slices of pie etc.. within a short walking distance from my desk.

Basically, tone down Gulpchuggy, stick to a more abstract art logo and aim for text that emulates the playful style of major corporate restaurant chains?

My initial suggestion to him was an abstract vending machine with a rooster head growing out of one side of the vending machine, and the rest being colorful text, something similar to Taco Bell or Ace Hardware.

His initial design involved stolen clip art, and looked a lot like the Los Pollos Gallos sign from Breaking Bad. Which has even less to do with vending machines than my AoStH-aesthetic logo.

He's a cocky college dropout, who doesn't know half as much as he thinks he does, but got a lucky break, and thinks he's all that, because he makes more money than I do.

If what he does go with is ever successful enough for a TV spot, I could give this design for Gulpchuggy to an animation team to make an ad with.

He probably won't ever get as popular as, say, Chuck E. Cheese. But if he can sell the idea of the business well enough to cement himself a future spot on RetroJunk, then I know Gulpchuggy did his job.

My brother's concern is that I took 3 hours, and tucked enough Easter eggs into the logo to build an entire world and make an entire movie around the mascot. He was only commissioning me to make a copyright-safe variant of the stolen clip art, not reinvent the wheel.

That’s nothing at all that’s like a cartoon of something nobody knows I would go with something real major like a Pizza Hut Burger King Taco Bell truck not roosters drinking

That didn't stop Hot-N'-Now. And they lasted quite a while before fizzling out. Their old ads had these cartoon spy-looking guys in them, and I still vaguely remember that.

Probably not. You might want to use a free logo design website. However, it's not a bad effort, you just need to make it slicker.
