Why is this?
Why are pizza and kebabs sold together?
Why is this?
I actually thought that was an authentic Italian pizza at first, because those people will throw ANYTHING on a pizza. But I agree. There's a Syrian place in the neighboring town that sells Cheeseburgers, French Fries and Salmon and there's a new Pakistani place that just opened and they sell Fish and Chips. And when I was in Poland, there was a Turkish owned Kebab place that also sold Zapiekanki, but they eventually took them off the menu 'cuz people weren't buying them. I can only guess that they're trying to get more business, but I can't for the life of me understand why someone would go to a Middle Eastern place for a damn pizza or cheeseburger.
It also happens in Italy that there are foreigners who make kebabs and pizza, because they are foods that are easy to make, especially for those who have Middle Eastern dexterity in handling the dough. The kebab sellers' pizza is poor and very greasy, just like kebabs, generally speaking.
Turks have their own cheese free pizza like Frenchies have their tarte flambée that is technically a pizza too.
I've never seen Italians selling Kebab here, maybe pope has forbidden such unholy food alliances in catholic countries.
Maybe it's because kebabs are seasoned in ranch sauce and pizza is seasoned in cheese so they assume that people who like fat cuts of meat and milk products will like both kebabs and pizza.

I don't think I have ever seen this combination before, in Canada. The most common combination is Pizza and Wings.
It is weird that I didn’t see this unique piece in the documentary of the Disgusting Foods Museum that I watched yesterday.
I wonder if it's called Pizzabab or Kebizza.
It's bait and switch. They get you in the door with pizza, then sell you the more expensive kebab.
I guess that's a proof of mixed integration, and the pizza-kebab shop owner knowing what clients mostly ask for. Plain practical.
Its the same in Finland.
I guess both are cheap and easy to make. They are also fast to make. I guess people like both so much that its more profitable to combine them.
and tomato came from the word tomatl... originated in the Americas, so... why not?
Because it's terrible pizza and decent kebabs as a general rule
I bet a kabob would be a good pizza topping.
I don't know but I would try it look delicioso
Wafflekebabs or pizzawaffle?
Because someone at some point tried it out and discovered how delicious it is. Kebab pizza is my favorite.
They're both cheap fast food items, probably why. I suspect most pizzas have little to do with authentic Italian food.
I feel like at this point, pretty much every place sells pizza regardless if it’s owned by someone Italian or not.
there’s a couple Mediterranean places around me that sell both pizza and Mediterranean food
Because they're usually a short stumble away from the pub and they know what we want to eat when we're pissed up
Cuz donner is focking delicious when you want the most fatty cholesterol filling fat ass pizza that's what you buy lol
That's interesting, I never knew that was a thing
Perhaps it's easier since they'll share same ingredients for the foods.
I love pizza and kebabs but I've never seen a shop or restaurant that sold both.
My local fast food place sell kebabizzas and pizzababs, it get's really confusing, but you always get the special mayo,,,
Those 2 things aren't sold together here in Canada.
Because drunk Brits will eat anything in my experience
