What are your favorite pizza toppings? And do you have any unconveniental toppings that you like?

Personally for me my favorite toppings vary. Some days I prefer plain pepperoni, but honestly I love a pizza with veggies. Whenever I order pizza or purchase one, I will typically get the supreme pizza ( it consists of pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, red peppers, yellow peppers, olives, and sometimes onions which I'll sometimes take off) or simply a pepperoni pizza. While away at university I would order often order a pepperoni pizza with spinach and tomatoes from the Papa John's that was located on campus. As a child and even now as an adult I love and I mean LOVE both macaroni and cheese pizza and taco pizza 🤤😋🥰😍.

My two favorites are:

pepperoni and sausage
ham and pineapple (aka Hawaiian)

But given that I worked for pizza restaurants for 5 or 6 years, I've had just about every kind of pizza there is.

A "weird" combo that turned out to be really good was sausage & pineapple. I'd have never ordered that for myself, but one night we had a cancelation, and it was a sausage & pineapple, and I hadn't eaten lunch and I was starving, so I took a couple of slices with my on my delivery, and wow, it was great! So, now, I occasionally make that combo to mix things up.

We used to make "hamburger pizza" with ground beef and onions, or sometimes I'd make my own variant of "all meat" (but with no salami, which in my opinion doesn't belong on pizza), but rather pepperoni, sausage, ham, and linguica, all on a thick crust pizza with lots of sauce. Ooooh, that was good!

My most favorite is called "The Lou' (see pic) - it has 4 cheeses, spinach, sliced Roma tomatoes, and basil.

Otherwise, pepperoni is probably the most ordered at my house. I'm good with many different toppings, tho. My least favorite is sausage - I pick it off.

I like a pizza called the southsider - it has Italian beef and Gardiner. I like BBQ pizza - it has bacon, onion, sausage (i pick that off), and BBQ sauce.

I really like Taco pizza, too! 🙂

Taco pizza is the best! I like chicken club pizza, pineapple pizzas, turkey pepperoni, five cheese marmalade (if you want a sauce that's not tomato or parmesan based, try one with marmalade sauce), spinach & mushroom. I've seen breakfast pizzas and philly cheesesteak ones. I pretty much like any veggie, cheese and chicken pizza.

Pineapple and corn as major toppings  I'm sure any Italian reading my opinion must be thinking of blocking me right away 🤣 Jokes apart, I like any pizza. As long we have extra cheese and fluffy well prepared base, consider two slices to be mine.

So I like a lot of toppings on my pizza and have been experimenting for a while with homemade combinations. One of the ones I have done a few times that always disappears quickly is a Swiss cheese pizza topped with ham, asparagus and mushrooms. With the sauce being a white sauce made with a roux, milk, white wine and garlic.

Cheese burger pizza was really good. I usually get meat lovers or Hawaiian. Pineapple belongs on pizza. PINEAPPLE on pizza, who doesn't like it? Lol. Also put black olives on them. BBQ chicken pizza depends on who makes it. I've had some bad ones and some good. Mainly, meat lovers with olives.

I'm just here to say that pineapples on pizza should be a fineable offense. Carry on. But figs are ok. Because figs are not a fruit.

Wow! Those do sound amazing! I have never had macaroni and cheese pizza or taco pizza but they sound delicious! I go for meat lovers so pepperoni, sausage, shaved stake, and bacon sometimes though it is ground beef or ham. But still so good.

My personal favorite is pepperoni, chopped garlic, mozzarella, and red pepper flakes. There is a place near us that makes the best! Great dough and sauce, and they are not chintzy with their cheese and toppings.
