Should I put my Costco chicken salad in the fridge or the freezer? Where should my cooked shrimp rings go, freezer or fridge?

Both answers were helpful, I learned not to put my chicken salad in the freezer because the mayonnaise and leaves won’t freeze well and I learned my shrimp should go in the freezer until a few hours before I eat it.

Chicken salad, per below. Fridge (assuming you’re going to eat this week), freezer if you’re not (although, query why you bought it then). Shrimp ring, freezer until the night before or day you’re going to eat it, then to the fridge to thaw.

As for chicken salad you can put it in the refrigerator & it will last about 3-5 days. You also can freeze it & put it into small portions & when you are ready to eat it take it out of the freezer & thaw it in the refrigerator overnight.

It’s depends on how soon you plan on eating them
