Do you like making bread or is it just me?

I like the smell of the yeast, the flour, the dough once I mix the yeast, salt, sugar, water, oil all together. And I love how it tastes in the end.

I really wish I could. I know I worry about not getting the yeast to activate, because if it doesn't then your bread will be ruined. Even though I know it's a learning process, I'd hate to make some dough and have it bake horribly. Cookie dough is one thing, but bread dough is another.

I never made it myself, but one of my friends made it back in college ALL THE TIME. He’d wake us all up at like 4:30 in the morning and we’d go down the hall to his room, eat some warm, fresh bread, and then go back to sleep, lmao

I made bread a couple of years ago. It was sort of fun. I did not think it would turn out good but it was delicious.

I like bread with 20% rye sourdough and it's sticky even with 80% wheat flour. Even if I have Kitchenaid and this mixer can handle bread dough, cleaning isn't fun. That's why I don't make bread anymore.

My wife and I tried once with a bread maker and followed the recipe to the letter. When it came out, it was so hard it felt like I needed a chainsaw to cut it.
