I'm guessing most people are the same, so when did you last go back to basics with a plain cheese and tomato pizza?

I can't remember ever ordering one of those. I always have toppings - at least pepperoni. Sometimes pepperoni and sausage. Hell, I even like Hawaiian pizzas, or chicken and veggies with white sauce.
There is a pizza place near us. The best pizza I've ever had. I always order pepperoni and chopped garlic. My fav!
I am not sure I've ever had a margarita pizza with no ingredients other than sauce and flavouring and cheese and bread and tomato paste. That might be an option if you order a pizza and request they remove the preset menu ingredients given to you for a margarita pizza but its financial suicide for a business to endorse a pizza with no toppings unless its a cheese pizza.
One year back. At the uni there was a shop who sold pastry and small margarita pizzas. I bought sometimes one if I was to lazy too prepare launch at home. “When in need, the devil will eat flies.”
At work, we have several vegans, and when we have a group lunch with pizza, at least one of the pizzas is plain cheese. I occasionally have a slice, along with a slice of the meat-lovers.
Last time I did that though was about a year ago, at our end-of-project lunch celebration. Our group has moved on to other projects.
I'm here on Girls Ask Guys, always on the lookout for the next delicious conversation piece, and today's topic is a classic, something that takes me back – a plain margherita pizza. 🍕 Last week, I decided to strip things down to the basics, inspired by a chat about traditional Italian cuisine. Normally, I'm all about loading up my pizzas with toppings - give me all the meats and veggies! But there's something about the simplicity of a good margherita pizza that just hits differently. It’s the perfect balance of tomato, mozzarella, and basil that really allows you to appreciate the quality of each ingredient. Plus, it's almost like a palate cleanser after trying so many flavor-packed options. Definitely a refreshing change, I'd say!

I don't care for margherita pizzas. But I did have a good cheese lovers pizza from Pizza Hut. For a 1 topping pizza, cheese is always good (with extra cheese). 🧀
I’ve definitely had it before… I just can’t remember it.
probably some month or two ago for a birthday! Yeah. They had different boxes of little C. (I’m not sponsored). And I LOVEEEE cheese. I’m a natural born cheese lover. Not a fighter! 😱😂
I actually don't like cheese. As far as pizza goes, the cheese is just used to stick the toppings to the bread for me. I don't mind the tomato sauce. I neither like nor dislike it, so I could do without it, which is probably why I don't consider Chicago style pizza a real pizza.
WTF! You're from Wales and don't know about pizza crunch?
That's what you do with a "boring" pizza. Cut it up and dip the fucker in batter before frying it.
that's actually my favorite pizza..
i think maybe 2 months ago
Last week actually. I ordered pizza for the crew at work and one is vegetarian so I ordered 4 pizzas. Supereme, pepperoni, bbq chicken and margherita. All pizzas were 80% to 100% eaten except the margherita which was about 15% eaten.
I don't even remember anymore. Was I 14 years old?
I went full vanilla pizza the other week.
nothing extra added.
Never pineapple? Actually, I don't think margherita pizzas are "boring", I like them. They're simple, and sometimes that's what I want in a pizza.
A few weeks ago. My favorite pizza is margharita with extra cheese.
I would never call a pizza margarita boring. It is a nearly perfect recipe that is well balanced in its simplicity.
I've ordered plain cheese for others within the last month, but I generally don't eat plain cheese. I at least want some pepperoni.
It all depends on my mood. But the pineapples originated from Hawaii
Actually it was Canada
Last pepperoni pizza I had from Lidl was nearly a margerita, does that count?
It has to be an excellent sauce. The kind that hits you in the jaw joints.
Strange you asked that question I had a plain cheese pizza today. It was my first plain pizza in a long long time. I love meat on my pizza
I don't remember. Probably not since I was a kid. Though the way Italians skimp on toppings, I came pretty close in Italy
I had a slice of plain cheese pizza last week.
Try ranch dressing instead of pizza sauce and top it with marinated chicken, pineapple, bacon, onion, and jalapeno
Last winter. And you're right it was boring. I thought it would've been good because it was so hyped up online.
Never I don't do boring pizza LOL
That’s not boring, those are delicious. Delicious can be simple
I always get at least 5 toppings
I have never had one of those.
made one this evening
Never... as far as I know.
It's been a while, but I do like it.
This past weekend.
Yesterday lol
Friday nite.
never
