Does my supper look healthy?

British food has a questionable reputation, and over the years, I haven't helped to change that with some of my previous questions that mock it. The biggest criticism is that it lacks spice and is unhealthy.

So, to change that perception, here is tonight supper, "curry half n half". Curry contains spice, usually everything beginning with C in the spice rack chucked in a tin of tomatoes. Tomatoes are a vegetable, as are the chips on the side because they once were potatoes but they're better now. I've gone with brown rice because it's all I've got in the cupboard, but we can all agree rice is healthy because it's like seeds or something.

The meat is chicken, which I've boiled in the curry for hours to kill any bird flu lurking there, I chose chicken because chickens eat seeds and rice is a seed which makes you reflect on what you're eating which is good for your mental health.

So this is a typical British meal that millions of us will be eating tonight, probably with a buttered bun to make a sandwich, and if there's any left, we'll warm it up for breakfast.
