We are all too familiar with what happens when your period hits: Your stomach cramps, your cravings go into overdrive; IT'S HORRIBLE. These are some of the foods you should really avoid when it's that "time of month":
1. Processed Foods

2. Fatty meats

Causes inflammation and pain, you should try eating lean meats or fish.
3. Sugary Foods
Sugary foods worsen menstrual cramps and can even make you feel miserable. If you are craving sugar, opt for some sweet fruits such as peach, melon, or mango.

4. Caffeine

It's no help with cramps, and can cause irregular periods.
5. Ice cream

Ice cream contain fats and have the same effect as fatty meats.
We all have different experiences, I'm a lucky girl because my period only lasts 3 days, ice cream does wonders to me and I can't bear heating pads, they just literally kill me!! I hope this helps you next time you're on your period :) <3
