Is my GF crazy to wear hoodies and jeans in the summer?

She claims she's perfectly comfortable, but if we go to places with air conditioning like a mall, she will even put leggings on under her jeans. Is this normal? Do girls feel the cold more than guys?

She may not feel comfortable with her body image in other clothes and therefore feels more comfortable covering up despite the heat. I live in the hot ass desert, everyone wears skimpy clothes unless they have to go to work. There is no sensible reason to be that covered up when its hot.

I'll wear jeans/leggings, a light jacket, and a scarf in the summer. Not sure what your girlfriend's reasons for wearing so much clothing are, but I do this to avoid unwanted attention and shield my skin from the sun.

This may sound odd, but I enjoy being cold enough to experience numbness or a burning/tingling sensation under my skin.

While your suggestion does make sense, I don't associate being cold with discomfort, so I'm not entirely sure.

Its actually normal. Me, I wear skinny jeans and a button up shirt or hoodie. If its too hot. I won't go outside.

It really does. I'm usually really cold, so when winter comes around ill have to wear 2-3 layers and a coat.

Thanks! My gf does the exact same thing, so maybe that explains it! I guess she just never got use to feeling cold. She wears long johns and 3 layers from like September to april, lol. So that's normal too?

Maybe she has an underlying condition that causes her to feel the cold more such as hypothyroid?

I don't get cold easily.
I just like the way my legs look in pants rather than shorts.

I wear long sleeves in the summer as well. I just don't have a lot of 'summer' clothes to begin with lol
I only wear shorts to work out, I just prefer the look of pants. It looks nicer to me.

Yeah don't worry about it. And no it doesn't. I don't get cold easily. And I just have no use for summer clothes, because where I live, it's cold majority of the year. (It was snowing in April haha). I'm just used to it by now, and I actually prefer the cold! lol

It's pretty warm wear we are, regularly 70 degrees...

That's not too bad. Where I live it can get to 110. I say as long as the temp or humidity doesn't go up she should be fine.

That's not warm. Warm is mid 80's. Hot is 90-120
