I'm either 5'5 1/2 or 5'6, my doctors change their answer, and I honestly had grown up in elementary and middle school as an average height, but now that i'm officially 5'6 and ALL of my friends stopped growing 5'4 and under, they are always talking about how "tall I am", and I used to love my height but now I feel so insecure about it. In class, my friend has always sat behind me but all of a sudden she started sitting in front of me and claimed it was because I was "reaaaallly tall". I hate it how these girls keep bringing up my height, I always thought it was just average. They make me feel like a giant or freak.
That's not not too tall at all. You're a great height. A lot of smaller women would be jealous.
I'm 5ft 7 but wish I was actually taller. I'd love to be about 5ft 9. If it makes you feel any better, my sister is 6ft 2. I can't even imagine what she must feel like. :)

Personally I like tall girls. Hurts my neck to constantly be looking down. A girl who is as tall or taller than me is completely fine by me. (6',2") Thats just me though. Depends on the guy in question. Manlets tend to be very insecure about their stature.

No way is that height too tall for a girl, at least not in most countries. 5 ft 5 in is average height of white women 20 to 40 years old in the US. In Finland it is 5ft 6 in. It is a tad smaller in other western Caucasian societies but only by an inch or so, so you are not out of the average range.
5’6 is the perfect height for a girl! If anything you could be a little taller. I’m 5’8 and I like girls my height, even taller. I love it when girls wear heels! Why wouldn’t you be able to wear heels with your 5’8 boyfriend? Is that his problem or yours?
What no. I'm like 5'6 and i'm actually kind of short in comparison to te other people around me. But then again I'm Norwegian. I guess we're taller in general? I don't know
