Why does she not say "Hi" to me?

Hello!

So, there's this girl in my Social Studies class who doesn't say "Hi" to me.

Since the beginning of the year she has only said "Hi" to me once, but we make direct eye contact every day when she enters the Social Studies room.

I know she knows my name because she has said "Hi" to me before.

When she enters the room she always says “Hi” to my friend (In front of me) but she nevers says “HI” to me.

Why is she doing this?

It's hard to say, I mean she at least said hi to you before so its not like she isn't familiar with you. Have you tried to say hi to her and see what happens? It may just be something as simple as she didn't say hi to you because you didn't say hi to her or funny thing is that she maybe thinking the same thing as you. Like "why isn't he saying hi to me? we look at each other all the time in class". Funny situations happen like this lol. You may be just overthinking the situation, just say hi to her first and see how it goes. If she does ignore you, then u can be a little concerned but just don't question it until you talk to her. :)

Does she say "hi" to everyone, but not to you? Does she seem to make eye contact just to you? If she only makes eye contact with you, that seems to me that she cares and feels something special about you. If she does not say "hi" only to you, maybe she's nervous around you.

I would doubt that to do the case. She seems so energetic in class. She doesn't come off as nervous.

Sometimes a girl can be nervous to only a specific person. Just say hi to her and see it from there.

Maybe she says hi to your friend because she has a better relationship with him, so she's more comfortable saying "hi".
Like Anonymous said, you can't expect her to say "hi" if you don't do it either.
