Well, there's a girl with whom I work with that I like. I told her I how I felt about her, but she said she wasn't wanting a relationship due to bad experiences in the past. She told me she liked that I told her, but never confirmed whether she did or didn't like me. Understood. Afterwards, things got awkward but only for about a day or two. After that, we've acted the same way prior to me telling her: talking, flirting, etc. Before I told her how I felt, she saw me wearing a pullover sweater and she said she liked it and asked me to let her borrow it. I agreed but never got around to doing so. We touched the topic the other day and she said she still wanted to wear it to work one day. Now, we work in an office where gossip runs wild. Everyone we work with has already seen the sweater I will let her borrow and will know who it belongs to when they see her with it on, and more than likely he gossip will fly that there is something between us. She hardly ever wears sweaters to work, and when she does ya the same one. I haven't seen her wear anyone else's sweaters or jackets at work, let alone another guy's. Now I'm thinking, could this mean anything? I mean, if she's willing to wear it amongst the people we work with, knowing they will start to talk about us in a sort if "couple" way, could it mean she does like me and maybe is considering being with me? I know it's just a sweater, but still lol. If it helps, she recently started inviting me out, or at least pitching the idea to go out, when before it was just me pitching the idea. Thanks in advance.
It's hard to say. It seems as if she enjoys your company. A lot of times when a girl wants to "claim" a guy she will often wear his sweater. It's kind of like high school sweethearts kind of a thing.
