There's a plethora of different reasons. Maybe you look unapproachable, upset. Maybe they don't want to bother you. Or maybe ether think your cute so theyre intimidated. The possibilities really are endless. And no, its not true that good looking guys are treated automatically better than mediocre guys. Looks can only get someone so far they start to drown. This is true for men and woman. Girls like someone who is kind, welcoming, shows interest in the things they or isn't afraid to start a conversation and tell us something new. It might also be helpful to see what kind of girls flock to these guys. Cause some of them look great on the outside, but once you get to know them, trust me you'll want nothing to do with them.
I don't think looks matter that much... But, how you appear to others is quite important. I mean if you seem like the kind of guy that just stand there, does not talk much or isn't funny but slow, tactless - I'm not saying that you are - you have less chance of being talked to that is for sure... I think those kind of guys you're describing have more success because they put on a mask quite often of confidence. And let's face it, confidence is attractive to most people.

Looks do matter to a certain extent. What kind of attitude you're putting out is also a factor. Confidence and attitude have a BIG effect on attraction.

Body language and behaviour matter too. You radiate negativity and I'm sure that by now you have a pretty solid reputation for it.
They matter a WHOLE LOT because you can't get a date without them (unless you got a lot of money) and yes men that look better get treated better unless the guys played them like a Simon game or is a huge player and makes no bones about it lol.
