What would you think if your date fell asleep during a movie?

I went to the movies a few nights ago with the girl I'm dating. What we have at the moment is care free and fun, but we're both off the market. I was exhausted after a long day when we met up, which she knew. I ended up snoozing through half the movie and now I'm getting the silent treatment.

Is it really that bad? How do I recover?

If I knew a guy was exhausted after a long day, I would reschedule but if he insists he's fine and then fall asleep, I would think its cute he still wanted to spend time with me despite being tired. Now, if I didn't know he was exhausted and he fell asleep during a movie, I would think he didn't find the movie interesting (or the date boring) and I'd feel bad but I don't understand how that's a reasonable excuse to give him the silent treatment? Hmm... I would clear it up with her. Tell her it was a long day and despite how tired u were, u still wanted to be with her. Then apologize for falling asleep. If she doesn't accept that explanation then the girl is being ridiculous and over dramatic. But I'm pretty sure she won't give u the silent treatment if u just explain yourself.

She knows the hours I've been doing and that I was tired. I apologized after, she seemed to think it was funny at the time. Usually she texts me when she gets home but didn't (I didn't text her coz I was asleep by then). Didn't respond to a text and voice mail yesterday. I was thinking of texting an apology but if she's not going to reply then what's the point? lol

Okay honestly, I wouldn't have texted u the same night after the date either because I would feel bad keeping u up even more (or waking u up) when u clearly needed some rest. U stated u didn't text her because u were already asleep... So she probably figured that and didn't see that it was necessary to wake u up with a text. at least that's how I would see it. Another reason could be maybe she's quite busy right now or hasn't gotten around to her voicemail yet? The only person who can tell u the real answer is her so maybe try calling her or confronting her in person to clear this up.

Sometimes I feel that way too and it will turn out it wasn't the case and I was worried over nothing. I once texted a guy and he just stopped responding. Then a day and a half later he responds to my text (realizing how delayed it was) and apologized for not seeing it on time. My phone doesn't always receive or send all my texts and sometimes it'll repeat the same one like 5 times. It's why it's best to talk in person. Goodluck.

Well she pretty much knew you were exhausted so I don't get why you're getting the silent treatment over that. She should be glad you even agreed to go to the movie. Honestly, if it were me in that situation, I would've understood completely and rescheduled the movie date. I know what an exhausting day feels like.

Oh boy u messed up lol. U basically told her she has bad tastes in movies and she's not that important to u to at least fake being interested. If u were too tired it's better to tell her that and reschedule. Or go somewhere where u guys would be walking or listening to live music. Tell her that you're sorry and u really wanted to hang out despite being really tired. Send some flowers too, that won't hurt.
