You probably should have a convo with one of those cake faces. Ask her how many make-up items she uses and I can assure you it won't be less than 8-10 items PLUS the fake eyelashes, tan, etc.
So comparatively, 3 items isn't that much at all :)
Because it isn't tons of makeup.
It's just two simple things on your eyes to make them stand out (Not even wearing eye shadow) and colored lips.
If you don't like it then find someone who cares. It's not like they're all wearing it to please you.
It's not much, sure, but let's be honest ladies. That much still doesn't make you look as "natural" as you think it does.
I like wearing eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick too but I know I look somewhat different wearing them.
Why do girls wear make-up and perfume? Because they're ugly and they stink.

Well it does when I am assessing their appearance which is a part of having an appearance, lol. I am not the only person in the world who does that, it would be extremely idealistic to claim that people will all just pretend your looks are exactly the same at all times and don't take it into consideration in any way.
I don't think they care when you are assessing them. I sure as hell wouldn't.

"a lot of makeup" is stuff such as foundation or a powder compact.
Most girls I know that say they only use a little makeup, they say mascara or mascara and foundation. That's actually not much in my opinion. But the moment they hit 3+ it's a lot lol.
It's still make-up, yes. Though it is considered very light when you could go HAM with foundation, concealer that contoures, etc.
I guess I can now walk out during the winter in just socks, panties and a bra. That's already THREE things!
