I'm 5'3 and girls won't give me a chance

I'm 5'7"+ and I tend to prefer men about my height. Like 5'6" to 5'11" - a few of the hottest and most hung men I've seen where on the "short" side - like 5'8." You're under 18, give yourself another few years, you'll probably grow a bit more. If you have other attractive qualities and keep working to improve yourself, you may not be getting ass right now, but soon you'll be finding women with a little wisdom that just want to find men who have their s*** together.

I'm 5'6", and I don't really have a set height "standard" that I look for in guys, but to be honest I've never found myself to be attracted to a guy who's shorter than me. And I think I have a thing for guys who are tall.

So I'd say no shorter than me. The same height or an inch or two taller is fine. But I'd say my ideal preference is close to 6 ft. My last boyfriend was 5'11 and that was perfect for me.

Honestly, dont waste your time with girls who are waaay taller than you. Its not you. Its just that tall girls already feel awkward and masculine because of their height, so they look for guys who are as tall or taller than them.

You have a good chance with girls closer to your height. Even if theyre an inch or two taller than you. Personality is key. There are lots of girls out there, It's all about how you present yourself. If you're confident and put yourself out there, people (girls) are naturally drawn to that. And not "all" the short girls can possibly be taken.

I'm 5'8 and the guy needs to be at least 5'9 (one inch taller then me).

Keep in mind: Girls stop growing wayyyy sooner than guys do. (girls usually stop growing at 16-17, while guys it's usually 18-21)

If you are still in middle/high-school-you have a LOT more growing to do, whereas I'm already finished growing :)

And, keep in mind that most guys don't like tall girls either.. so it's hard for me too :/
My aunt is 5'1, and her husband is 5'4. They've been married for 30 years now. They're both short.. see? you will find a girl who likes you.

Every guy I know either doesn't care about height, or prefers tall girls lol, not sure what you're talking about. Hopefully I'll find a short girl someday, but it seems all the tall guys are snatching up the short girls, yet all the tall girls are too shallow to date me.

The shortest man in my family is 5'11 (my grandfather). My dad is 6'1, mom is 5'11, uncle is 6'2, cousins are 6'4. I actually think my dad would disapprove of me if I ever dated a short guy (he's kinda a dick). My dad has always told me to "keep the tall gene alive".

As I said, If I were short- I wouldn't care about the guy's height

Of course I would, I don't judge people by something as simple as height. So what is someone stands taller off the ground, I honestly can't comprehend how it makes any difference. Like I get why muscles are important to girls, but height is something just so superficial. I don't get how girls call men shallow, but then have this crazy numerical standard where is you are one inch below, they'll completely cut you off as a romantic option, it's insane to me. Of course it's inherently shallow by definition.

I don't really care for muscles to be honest. yes, they are attractive.. but I've seen a lot of hot chubby and skinny guys.

The face is way more important than the body.
An attractive face means good genes <3

Guys are also shallow: Long hair, big ass, big boobs, flat stomach, great legs, nice eyes, perfect teeth...

Guys are still less shallow because we don't hold girls up to this numerical threshhold where if they fall even slightly below it, they won't even be considered. I also see a lot of variation within mens taste, many men prefer a girl with a bit of fat, or short hair. Obviously no guys expect perfection, but I think we can both agree that girls are inherently more shallow.

I'm almost 5 ft 2. Anything shorter than me is too short. But I've never met a guy shorter than me that was older than 14 though.
And if you're under 18, you could still have some room left to grow! I was barely 5 ft tall until after I graduated high school. I hadn't grown any taller since elementary school and then all of a sudden I grew another 2 inches!

I'm 5'4 and a half my ex was 6 ft and I loved it. I love tall guys (6'4 being my ideal height.) however the last guy I talked to was only 5'8 and it didn't bother me. the guy i'm crushing on currently isn't very tall either but it hasn't stopped me from being attracted to him. Girls have their shallow moments but if they base a relationship off of only those things they are missing out.

well I was with my ex 3 years and he was my first bf and only relationship. its just what im used to. like I said the guy im crushing on now isn much taller probably like an inch. besides if you are guy if you are under 18 you probably aren't done growing. most girls grow out their long list of standards when they mature and realize its better being with someone who treats you good. I know a guy who is shorter than me and has a girlfriend taller than me.

I'm only 5 feet tall, so anything taller than me is ideal. My ex was 5'3" and it didn't bother me at all. Everyone has different preferences, and if a girl really likes you then height shouldn't be a major issue.
