Girl asked me to be her boyfriend fairly early. Red flag?

I started going out with this girl. We get a long really, really well. We've been texting a lot before we even started dating so we're really comfortable with each other. Today was our second date together and we were acting like a young couple in love just like the first one. We're just that comfortable with each other.

The thing is that.. She already asked me if we're official. I said I'm really interested in her but I need a bit more time to think.

Is this a red flag?

I'm going through a similar situation at the moment. It's tough to say, it sounds like you haven't really known her for a while. If it were me I'd explain to her that you want to get to know more about her and get to know, well, her. Tell her that you feel something for her and that you care about her but you want to take your time because you like her. But don't tell her you like her, women are complicated like that heh. Just tell her how you really feel.

She's either really inexperienced or psycho. Psycho is a deal breaker, period.

But yeah, seems like a red flag to me.

It might be a red flag to her... She may feel you aren't ready to commit which could cause her to back off. It isn't uncommon for a girl to ask where she stands especially if you two have been talking for a while.

I do see that that's a little too soon, but she may be one of those people who feels THAT comfortable with you that she's cool with it.

Not really if you've been dating. If you don't like the thought of commitment though I recommend you back out.
