Are female bartenders bigger sluts and cheats than female non-bartenders?

Serious question. Just started working part time as a bartender while studying at college. It's my first ever job and the first time I have been around a lot of women outside of school.

Every single one of the female bartenders (except one) sleeps around a lot. And many of them even cheat. And they don't seem guilty at all for doing it! These are both young women and middle aged of all races and family backgrounds. There are even some moderately religious girls (not hardcore religious for obvious reasons). It has shocked and depressed me a little. Made me even doubt my past gfs faithfulness.

So does a bartending job attract sluts so disproportionately? Or are non-bartenders like that too but without the 'right' circumstances perhaps to reveal the sluttiness fully?

And, no, this doesn't mean we are necessarily more likely to cheat. I was VERY sexually confident, forward, aggressive, and promiscuous when I was single, but I have never cheated on any relationship I've ever been in, ever. And I'm not the only one.

Probably. If you spend a lot of time around guys who are drinking, with inhibitions lowered and desires for sex amplified, it's bound to happen. Doesn't mean that the female bartenders are bigger 'sluts'. It's a situational-type thing.

Well as far as I know there haven't been any studies comparing the number of sexual partners of female bartenders to those of non-bar tenders.

So while I can't say yes they are sluttier, you also can't definitively say they are not sluttier just because its politically correct.

well obviously it depends on who hits on them. there is a huge difference between complete strangers aggressively hitting on them who they dont find attractive whatsoever, and a guy who they find attractive that comes by like every day so they eventually hook up because they get along so well.

yeah i dont know too much about bartenders but its just simply common sense when it comes to any woman (and man), nobody likes to get hit on by someone annoying and unattractive to them, but its a whole other story when you feel at least a physical connection. and yeah i found the way he worded this question (constantly throwing around the word "slut") to be very ignorant but yeah i do see how he made them out to seem very loose.

Well yeah, the term "slut" implies promiscuous behavior.

The problem is this gets thrown around too casually.

yeah i just dont like that word because it's just an offensive one. being called promiscuous simply means you have that trait. that you enjoy casual sex. but being called a slut is basically being labeled as loose and dirty.

I guess bartenders always have the opportunity to sleep around as they are always in the right environment and meet the kind of people who are up for it. They probably act on it because they have sexual needs too.
