My ex followed me again on Instagram. Does it mean anything?

So the girl I was dating broke up with me first a couple of weeks ago but took me back, but then I broke up with her a week ago, but I never imagined us not keeping in touch.

When I broke up with her she instantly deleted me on snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram but I still followed her. It's been a week and she just now followed me again on insta but still has made no effort to contact me.

I still wanna talk to her. Does this mean anything or should I wait for her to say something?

The amount of emphasis people put on how people act on social media is bizarre. Unfollowed, followed, whatever, it's not as significant as people think. Maybe she just wants to see how you react or maybe she wants to track your online activity because she just isn't emotionally done with things yet and it's a way to stay connected, but it doesn't mean she wants anything with you and it doesn't matter what she does online if she isn't actually speaking to you and expressing that she wants to reconnect. That being said, if you want to talk to her then contact her and see if she responds, that's pretty simple. Just keep things simple and don't over-analyze everything or it will just become a problem you didn't need.

she probably followed back because's she's still emotionally attached to you and wants to see how you're doing without interfering. either that or she doesn't wanna lose you as an ig follower and mess up her follower-following ratio aha.
