Girl's Behavior

She said yes, then changed her mind a week later?

I met this girl about 3 months ago, we chatted, we hung out and I found that we had almost everything in common. She was an exact match as my ideal lover and I fell for her.

Last week I asked her if she would have a relationship with me and she said yes without much hesitation and of course I was very happy. Then a week later (2 days ago) she asked to see me in person and she said she changed her mind and that she never liked me romantically. But what she said it's conflicting with everything she said to me while in our short relationship, I feel like this is not the real reason.

Why would a girl do that? Have you ever seen something like that before?
And if I can't be with her, at least how could I restore or friendship?
She said yes, then changed her mind a week later?
