Why dose she still have my number?

So me and this girl genuinely liked each other but there was some misunderstanding where she thought i didn't like her. So she wanted to be friends. I told her how i felt but i guess it was too late.

Anyways fast forward a couple months and now she has a boyfriend. I tried being her friend but my feelings for her would always come back. so i told her i love her and i can't just be friends and that if she ever changes her mind let me know.

She still has my number in her phone for some reason. We kinda have the same group of friends and when we see each other she always gives me a hug instead of just a "hey" or a "hi". She always checks my Instagram stories everyday and almost always changes her profile pic after i change mine..

So what's your thoughts in this situation? Why dose she still have my number or care to see what im doing by watching my Instagram story?
