What does it mean if this girl starts acting cute/girly around you?

- She is usually shy and doesn't talk to any one at work (including me unless I initiate)
- She calls things "cute or pretty" around me: "It's so cute or It's so pretty"
- When I tell her a story, she says "Awww..."
- When I pass by her, she smiles and sometimes looks down while still looking at me
- Tends to say sorry and is extra polite to me "Can borrow your pen please? Thank you"

Is she just being polite or just comfortable?

It depends on whether it's specifically to YOU. She may just extremely polite and cutesy as a person. Try and see how she acts around others, or how others view her, or if the amount of cutesiness/politeness is exceedingly extra around you. Or if her behavior isn't really matching up with her usual personality.
