Is it werid that a girl you know stares at you while your talking to someone else?

Basically this girl i know, always stares at me while i chat too different people. (I can see her from the corner of my eye). For example yesterday she Was telling me & a friend about two people taking, then showed us an example she came really close to me & showed how those two people were talking afterwards made a comment of “sorry i came too close” then did the same to my friend, but no comment was made, if that makes any sense? Why make that comment? Then do the same to someone else? Pls help!
