First, I understand the scientific reaction of flooding hormones and pain that takes place. But I've witnessed people control their anger and emotions, even under the worst pain scenarios. My sister was cramping viciously and her nerves were irked beyond belief from loud children and the shear discomfort of her cycle.
But she makes a habit of lashing out in ways against my bro-in-law unjustly. The guy just arrived home, not even through the door five minutes when she started to rant and lash out at him for a mess on the counter-top left by her two lady buddies. Kids don't drink wine from crystal champagne glasses and leave traces of lipstick with Jimmy Choo magazines laying around.
She contained her pain, rage and composure moments later, when that cop pulled her over for speeding and also didn't display any signs of hostility when her mother-in-law showed up to pick up the kids.

I have stage 4 endometriosis. My period is agonising and every second one I end up taking tramadol injections just to get out of bed. I totally understand feeling like crap and having a shortened temper due to hormones and a general feeling of unwellness probably more than most. But that doesnât excuse bad behaviour towards others

Yes absolutly. Those girls needs to learn how to control their behavior. It's never an excuse it may be a reason but not an excuse. How old is your sister?
First, thank you for your unbiased honesty. This wasn't made to bash those suffering the effects of menstrual cycles but to highlight people who act ugly using something that comes natural as an excuse to lash out at specific individuals.
My sister is a thirty-five year old District Attorney Prosecutor and she's more than aware of when to control her so called, uncontrollably, primal instincts.
She has a great husband and she better realize what she's been doing.

However, I am in disbeliefe that the one woman claimed you are an asshole for saying her peruod pains ARE reason enough to lash out, and saying that kemo pains come nowhere close so you would not understand. I am suspected to have endo and I understand that they are nowhere near as bad, amd a girl here with stage 4 endo can keep her shit together.
I have had periods where indid not know I was being ridiculous and I took it all out on my boyfriend, however. Too me, I was logical. The situation: I made a silly face in a pic and sent it to him and he said "She ugly but I love her", a meme throwback and I lost my shit on him, and even ignored him for a day for "lying to me" since before he always said I was beautiful. I thought I had good reason, but looking back, not at all. In fact, if he had done the same, i'd probably respond just as he had.
Undoubtedly, some women suffer greatly when they experience the monthly malady. However, suffering is not unique to women at that time. I am slowly recovering from a severe sinus infection and I had a severe headache for three weeks. I did not bite off my girlfriend's head or threaten to lop off her boobs. If you really think that PMS is an excuse to threaten a guy with castration, etc., please notify us of that on the first date so we can respond accordingly!

PMS is absolutely a think. During my time of the month, the girl beside me sniffs, and I feel mad at her. I always feel bad after it, and never act on these feelings. Pains are a different thing. Cramps are your cervix opening, they might cause me to be tired and and little impatient while in pain, but never angry, or to lash out at someone. If a girl is getting mad at people for no reason and blaming her period, she's just looking for excuses. Remember that not all women are like this. Despite this, if I did have a disagreement on my period and go apologise, I might blame the fact that I exaggerated on my period, but not the root problem, I would take responsibility.
It honestly depends on her hormones. I seriously cannot control nor realize when I go mad. I'm not like in that picture though lol, it happens usually over a serious reason (in my point of view) and I don't scream. The average female may be able to control it, but I can't as estrogen is raging inside me. I wish people could understand that.
I completely understand what you're saying and I empathize with you, however there are those that no matter how much rage is building, pain is pulsating, hormones flooding, they put their emotions in check when grandma is present, they're in the presence of their immediate boss or law enforcement. Then resort back to being nasty to those they have no true fear of the consequences of their actions. Yet to see my sister, rant and scream violently at our 107 year old Nana.
You really don't know when those hormones will hit you. I think most try to not let it effect our emotions but can't control it sometimes. It's just a part of life.
As far as your sister goes you might not know other problems she has with her husband that would make her more short with him. Hell, he may not even know yet.

PMS is a hormonal imbalance. It is even qualified as a mental disorder. So no I wouldnât call it an excuse (cuz its a literal chemical imbalance) but I will say some people exaggerate their symptoms

I personally don't I get really bad cramps sometimes I have to go to the hospital but I know there are some girls that don't get cramps or anything at all I am also already always emotional so having my period makes it so much worse I try to be as normal as possible but it's hard when you feel like poop

Frankly, I've only heard women blame testosterone when men are violent. High testosterone or low testosterone issues that lead to anger are very rare medical conditions. Testosterone is good for man's body overall and women testosterone too

Yup, I get irritated and annoyed like the week before but never will I lash out at someone, thatâs uncalled for.
I say this to girls. Either A pms is a valid excuse and that means you need to stay home and you can't drive or drink or do anything that requires any clear thinking or B you are a grown ass adult and its no excuse. You choose.

lol, stop fucking whining. Periods do suck (trust me, I know) but they're not a reason to be a huge bitch over the slightest things. PMS is totally a thing. Cramps are totally a thing. Mine are so bad I have to take painkillers and I'm looking to go on birth control. I do not treat people around me like shit because they inconvenienced me.
