Why do women want our passwords?

Question

What happened to trust, respect and privacy?
Have these things vanished?
Is this the beginning of the end of human relationships and the start of unwanted, unfortunate or unplanned children?

How can there be trust if there is none from the other party?

Some of the things I have are directly linked with my job. One wrong move and it can cost me my employment.

I have never asked for a guy's password. I have never had a guy ask for mine either.

I can only think of very, very few reasons why one person would need another's password.

An example might be: One partner needed to submit a job application through their email because they forgot. The forgetful partner has access to a (non-smart) phone and calls their partner, asks them to log onto their computer, attach it, log in and send it.

And let's be honest that example is so unlikely that the chance of it occurring it one in a bajillion...

If someone is asking for your password, you probably need to move on. They're trying to be WAY too controlling.

I should be asking the same question. Guys ask for my password too. And I’ve never asked for theirs...
But I’m gonna assume people that ask for it may be a step in order to see how trustworthy they are since most people have their whole life on their phones.

Not all of us are like this I've never asked for a guys password and if anything I trust my s/o too much
I do happen to know my boyfriend password just because he told it to me when he asked me to book a hotel on his phone

My ex wanted to read all my text messages. I gave her my password. But she would critique every little text. Got super annoying, I think she was insecure in our relationship. Safe to say , that's why I broke up with her.

Lack of trust, or maybe they have nothing better to do than see what you are up to each day? I don't know.
I wouldn't want anyone's password. I don't even have a password on my phone. It is a flip phone. I don't even store phone numbers on it either.
