So as I’m scrolling through my Instagram, one trend I’m seeing more and more is girls that post extremely revealing pictures. The focal point of the image is typically their booty, or nipples showing through shirt, lingerie, or something along these lines.
So one day I’m scrolling through Instagram, and I ask my girlfriend “man why are these girls posting stuff like that”, and she goes on and in DEFENDING these girls that post nothing but thirst traps. Then she called me insecure for “judging” girls that post these things. She says they can post whatever they want. Now my girlfriend isn’t one to post these type of things, but nearly all of the girls within her friend group do this.
I’m in complete agreement that girls can post whatever makes it them happy, but is it worth it to expose yourself in that manor for likes or validation from other males?
What are your thoughts? Are they doing it for likes? For attention? For validation? Are they not thinking about long-term result and the power of the internet? Am I insecure for thinking its wrong? What would their family think about them posting these type of pictures for the world to see? Could YOU date somebody that posts revealing pics frequently?
