Why is my girlfriend so understanding?

My girlfriend is pretty awesome.

she's cool with me going on random fishing trips with my friends

she’s also cool with me going to parties without her

she's totally understanding when I want to game with the boys, or when she’s with me and I want to game she actually offers to go home so I can “have fun with the boys online” and she’ll see me soon

i forget to reply to her texts for like 6 hours sometimes (don’t ask, I just tend to not think about her a lot or anything at all) and she’s understanding and nice about it

she always wants me to have fun, be safe and text her when I get home when I go out or do anything or when I’m at work. She understands when I changed my plans with her to hangout with a friend that I haven’t seen in forever. She basically never gives me crap about anything.

why is she so understanding and nice? I feel like I don’t appreciate her enough

Hey thanks for the replies people! It kinda opened my eyes maybe I was kind of taking her for granted? Honestly I was probably just lazy in this relationship, I’m 17 and she’s almost 19 and we’ve been dating for almost 2 years so I don’t know why she’s still with me, I’ll try harder

im sry but i feel like you dont deserve her. she is trying so hard, but i think its probably hurting her. i mean you're basically ignoring her and pushing her aside. writing a post about how awesome she is doesn't makeup for how many times youve ditched her for your friends or forgotten to text her simply bc she's not important enough to be on your mind. i think she's only acting this way if she is insecure, and will do anything to keep a boyfriend, or is cheating, since clearly you're never with her anyways. i think you should put more effort into the relationship, or just break up with her. if you actually viewed her as a girlfriend youd be more invested in the relationship

Sounds like me a little with my boyfriend😅 ummmm... well... we are few and far between, but sometimes girls just kinda go with the flow... make sure you do give her appreciation or she might start to feel less cool with it all... and, if she has anxiety like me, make sure you tell her before you disappear for hours that you’re busy or distracted so she doesn’t think she angered you or something... I tend to start apologizing for whatever I did after a while if I don’t know he’s doing something... but I’m totally cool that he’s got things he’s gotta do. I mean... you are people too and you’ve got lives. Just make sure you give her the same courtesy, ok?

There could be several reason she is this way:

She isn't that much into the relationship either.

She's just easy going.

She's nice and maybe too nice.

Right now what you are in isn't really a relationship or at least it is an one sided relationship.
She gives and you receive.

If she cares at all about you it will get old fast or over time. If she cares and you can't take the time to really give back just let her go for her own well being. She can find someone else who is more into her.

If you put her on the shelf too long some other man might think she needs to come off the shelf for him. When you don't attend to your garden someone else will come along who will. But you are young it might not be that big a deal for you. It will hurt like heck when you get older and maybe get in a long term relationship.

Thanks man, I just don’t get why she’s like that cuz I’ve dine some pretty shitty stuff and she didn’t get mad at it. And when I’m in a bad mood I tend to kinda shut her out or be mean and I feel bad...
